Laura Telerski is Deputy House Democratic Leader and a four-term State Representative from Nashua’s Ward 8. Laura serves on the House Finance Committee as the ranking member of Division III and champions policies and services that support hardworking Granite Staters and promote health and well-being statewide.

Legislative Achievements

• Serves as Deputy House Democratic Leader, and was previously Democratic Advisor on the House Democratic Core Leadership Team from 2023 to 2024.

• Sits on the Executive Committee of the NH House Democratic Victory Campaign Committee, working to recruit, train, and elect strong candidates to ensure a Democratic majority. Was Committee Chair for the 2024 election cycle.

• Serves on the House Finance Committee, working on the state budget.

• Previously served as Clerk and Deputy Ranking Member of the House Transportation Committee.

• Helped ensure passage of a bill to provide firefighters with early cancer screenings.

• Advanced legislation to help feed children in low-income families during the summers.

• Led efforts to provide funding for municipalities to update and secure voting machines and election technology.
